Serena Williams shared the first public images of her newborn daughter on Wednesday morning on her Instagram Story. In the clips, she also revealed the baby girl's name: Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr.

You'll notice that her new daughter's name is a gender-neutral "junior" of her father's, which is pretty great.

Then, later in the morning, Williams shared another sweet photo of baby Alexis -- this time on her Instagram page.

"We had a lot of complications," Williams explains in the Story, "but look who we got. We got a baby girl!"

Williams also reminded us in her announcement that, technically, baby Alexis has won a Grand Slam title. (She was present when her mom earned one, after all.)

Will her father, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, also present her with her own subreddit? Who knows.

But he did release this extremely cute video.
